The Tumbling Mixer Plays an Important Role in Food Processing

The application of tumbling machines in the food processing and manufacturing industry delivers remarkable results, significantly boosting production efficiency. Selecting the right tumbling machine is fundamental for food-processing enterprises seeking to enhance their productivity. A tumbling machine consists of multiple components; high-quality tumbling machines are entirely constructed from premium-grade stainless steel, ensuring that the production process remains free from metallic contamination and offering excellent corrosion resistance. These machines feature a superior operating system: as the ingredients tumble inside the drum, the meat within the drum absorbs the marinade evenly, thereby improving the meat’s binding strength and enhancing its elasticity. The tumbling machines produced by our factory are equipped with a “lung-respiration” function and incorporate cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and materials. They boast advantages such as variable frequency control, automation, and adjustable rotation speeds. The drum interior is designed with a vacuum system, allowing the meat to undergo reverse massage under vacuum conditions. The agitator blades feature a V-shaped structure. During the meat-mixing process, this design effectively shortens the tumbling time, greatly enhancing overall efficiency. 
1. Loading: 
Cover the cylinder with the lid and screw the suction hose into the suction connector. Then, press the suction button to start the suction process. Once suction is complete, press the stop suction button, unscrew the suction connector, and replace it with the sealing cap—this completes the loading procedure. 
II. Operation: 
Based on the product process, process parameters are set on the human-machine interface. Each product’s process parameters include nine items: total tumbling time, forward rotation time, reverse rotation time, pause time, tumbling mode, tumbling speed, first addition of auxiliary ingredients time, second addition of auxiliary ingredients time, and static resting time after tumbling is complete. Up to 30 programs—ranging from 0 to 29—can be memorized, corresponding to process parameters for 30 different products. 
When the tumbling mode is set to “breathing tumbling,” the tumbler will operate as follows: Under vacuum conditions, it will perform forward and reverse rotations, then pause at atmospheric pressure. Specifically: Start → Forward rotation (vacuumize to the set vacuum level and maintain) → Pause (release vacuum, maintaining atmospheric pressure until the pause is complete) → Reverse rotation (vacuumize to the set vacuum level and maintain) → Pause (release vacuum, maintaining atmospheric pressure until the pause is complete) → Forward rotation (vacuumize to the set vacuum level and maintain) → Pause (release vacuum, maintaining atmospheric pressure until the pause is complete)... Upon reaching the first and second times for adding auxiliary ingredients, the machine will pause, and the alarm indicator light will turn on simultaneously. After the worker has finished adding the ingredients and securely closed the sealing lid, they should press the “Addition Complete” button to resume operation of the tumbler until the total tumbling time is reached. 
When the tumbling mode is set to vacuum tumbling, the tumbler will operate as follows under vacuum conditions: Start (evacuate the chamber and maintain the vacuum until the total tumbling time is reached) → Rotate forward → Pause → Rotate backward → Pause → Rotate forward → ... After reaching the first and second times for adding auxiliary ingredients, the machine will pause, and the alarm indicator light will turn on. Once the operator has finished adding the ingredients and securely closed the sealing lid, they should press the “Add Ingredients Completed” button to resume operation until the total tumbling time is up. 
When the tumbling mode is set to atmospheric-pressure tumbling, the tumbler will operate as follows under atmospheric pressure: start → forward rotation → pause → reverse rotation → pause → forward rotation → ... After reaching the first and second times for adding auxiliary ingredients, the machine will pause while the alarm indicator light comes on. Once the worker has finished adding the ingredients and securely closed the sealing lid, they should press the “Addition Complete” button to resume operation of the tumbler until the total time is up. 
In addition, this machine is equipped with a variable-frequency drive, allowing users to smoothly adjust the speed between fast (12 rpm) and slow (1 rpm) modes at any time according to their needs. 
3. Unloading 
Once the total kneading and tumbling time has elapsed, the drum will automatically stop and remain in a vacuum state while continuing to count down the timer. The process will keep running until the preset resting time is reached, at which point an alarm signal will sound, indicating that the operator can open the lid and remove the material from the drum. At this point, pressing the "De-vacuum" button will release the vacuum. You can then remove the drum lid, followed by pressing the "Discharge" button. The drum will immediately start rotating in the discharge direction (clockwise), thereby automatically discharging the meat material into a receiving container—such as a meat cart—placed beneath the drum’s opening, thus completing the entire processing procedure.
